ReDefiners World Languages teaches languages online. ZionStar built an LTI application embedded in their LMS that lifts student engagement and tracks enrollments — with an admin dashboard, a virtual classroom, a leaderboard and a referral system.

ReDefiners needed to raise engagement and retention in online language courses — with a clear view of enrollments across languages, an easy way to run live virtual classes, and incentives that keep learners coming back — none of which the LMS offered out of the box.

The solution

We engineered an LTI application embedded in the LMS: an admin dashboard with enrollment and language analytics, a virtual classroom to schedule and record live classes, a points-based leaderboard, and a referral system that rewards students for inviting and activating new learners.
